With the help of local tradespeople, Jonathan and Fanny have given this old Provençal building a new lease of life

The Auberge de la Reine Jeanne offers guests authentic and refined cuisine all year round. Guests will appreciate the warm, friendly atmosphere found in the attractive dining room. This room, whose old-world charm has been carefully preserved, will win over guests with its exposed beams and beautiful stone walls. This welcoming setting is the ideal place to enjoy an intimate dinner with friends or family.

During the winter, take your seat beside the fireplace and soak up the soft warmth after a beautiful day out exploring Provence. The windows of the adjoining kitchens give guests a privileged insight into the hub of the restaurant, allowing them to share in the flurry of activity within. Discover the exclusive dining experience and intimate atmosphere that this corner of the restaurant has to offer.

The Auberge de Saint-Rémy de Provence offers guests a unique setting in which you will spend an enjoyable evening in excellent company. What better end to the day than a dish specially concocted by our chef, or perhaps a glass of Champagne?

The Auberge also offers guests a separate dining room, which may be hired out for your private use, ideal for those looking for an even more intimate atmosphere and an exceptional dining experience. This softly lit room overlooks the main dining room. It is suitable for any private or business event.

Our restaurant is closed on wednesday and on thursday (all day.) 


In the light of the patio lamps, or by the dining room’s fireplace with its dancing flames, the evening’s gastronomic journey has just begun. Discover cuisine with a Provençal accent, showcasing Mediterranean vegetables and local herbs, as you enjoy the friendly atmosphere on the restaurant’s terrace.

Fanny & Jonathan

With her ties to the region, Fanny Rey took over the Auberge Saint Remy de Provence in July 2012, following her professional experience in several prestigious establishments. Her education took place at the Fermes de Marie hotel in Megève, then five years at the Ritz in Paris. She also spent time working at the Oustau de Baumanière two-Michelin-starred restaurant in Les Baux-de-Provence.

Fanny holds a strong affection for the region, and has started to seek out local producers in order to select the very best regional produce. Just one visit to the Auberge was enough; she instantly fell under its spell, and thus began the story of her own restaurant, here in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.

Jonathan Wahid was the pastry chef at the Oustau de Baumanière restaurant and the two-Michelin-starred Le Strato restaurant in Courchevel, and he also worked at the Ritz for seven years.

Cartes & menus

Fanny places a huge importance on seasonal cuisine. The produce she uses is rigorously selected and transformed in order to shape her culinary signature. The à la carte menu, created according to the seasonal produce available at the local market, is in constant evolution, always featuring new dishes for our guests to enjoy. Among our specialities, try the authentic bouillabaisse, served in the traditional way (the broth first and the fish as a separate course), Provençal aioli, prime rib of beef or grilled sea bass with thyme. Experience a real explosion of flavours, colours and textures. Finish your meal in style with Suzette pancakes flambéed in Grand Marnier or our mille-feuille with red berries. This is just a taster of the mouth-watering unlimited dishes we offer. Or why not try a more unusual meal, where every dish showcases what we like to call “green gold” - Provençal olive oil?

Starters range between €26 and €40, main courses between €38 and €40 and desserts between €19 and €25. Our menus change from week to week, as they are created using the seasonal ingredients the Provençal land has to offer us.

With the arrival of the good weather, take advantage of our patio or terrace. In this verdant setting, the dishes are lit up by sunlight and guests are sure to appreciate the pleasant surroundings. Take a seat on one of the wrought iron chairs in the shade of a parasol, and let the tranquillity of nature soothe and relax you.

During the summer, under a sky softly lit with stars, a romantic atmosphere reigns on our patio, where relaxation is on the menu. Delicate candles, lamps and elegantly dressed tables help set the mood in this gorgeous setting. Savour every moment during your meal in this bucolic fairy-tale scene.
